Tips

If you use baby food for the carrot puree, measure it with the applesauce to get a total of 1 cup between the two.

While any creamy peanut butter can be used, choose one that doesn’t contain added sugars. Your dog won’t miss the sugar, and it’s better for them to skip the sugar.

Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Consult your vet before giving your dog any new foods, especially if they have allergies or other health conditions.

Storage and Shelf Life

No-bake dog treats cannot be stored at room temperature and must be kept refrigerated.

These can be stored in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to 7 days.

To store longer these can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months without losing flavor or texture. Just keep them in a freezer-safe container or freezer bag.

If you store them in the freezer, take them out early enough to let them thaw before giving them to your dog.
