Recipe for Frozen Cucumber Yogurt Dog Treats
This recipe uses only 3 simple ingredients and whips up in just a few minutes.
Ingredients You’ll Need

- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Kitchen Tools to Prepare
You need a few basic tools to make this recipe:
- Blender or food processor
- Silicone molds, I like these paw and bone shaped molds or these larger paw shaped molds
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Spoon or spatula
Regular ice cube trays also work if you don’t have silicone molds. The goal is to create bite-sized servings your dog can enjoy.
Instructions
Wash the cucumber thoroughly and chop it into small pieces. Rinse the peas under warm water to thaw them slightly for easier blending.

Add the chopped cucumber, peas, and Greek yogurt to your blender.

Blend until smooth.

Carefully pour or spoon the blended mixture into a silicone mold or ice cube tray.
Place molds in your freezer and let the treats freeze solid.

This typically takes about 4-6 hours, but overnight freezing works great if you’re not in a rush.

Once frozen, pop the treats out of the molds and serve them to your dog. Watch their tail wag with excitement!

Tips for Making Frozen Dog Treats

Place the silicone treat mold on a cookie sheet before filling to make moving them to the freezer easier.
Any brand of yogurt can be used, just make sure it’s plain Greek yogurt with no added sugars or artificial sweeteners.
These are great for dogs of any size, just choose your molds based on your dog’s size. Smaller treats for smaller dogs or those on a diet.
Always consult your vet before giving your dog new food. This is especially important for those dogs on a special diet or with any health concerns.
These can be fed directly from the freezer, no need to thaw them.
Storage Tips
Store these treats in an air-tight container in the freezer. I usually put mine in a freezer bag, but any freezer-safe container will work.
Use these within a few months for the best freshness.
