Why Pumpkin and Banana?

Both pumpkin and banana are fall favorites, and they’re dog-friendly superfoods too:

  • Pumpkin is full of fiber, vitamins A and C, and beta-carotene, which can help with digestion and immune support.
  • Bananas are naturally sweet, rich in potassium, and provide an energy boost for playful dogs.

Together, they make a tasty combo that’s healthy and tail-waggingly delicious.

Tips

Place silicone molds on a baking sheet to make transporting to the freezer easier.

If you don’t have silicone molds, ice cube trays work great as well.

Choose the size of your molds based on how big your dog is. Use a small mold if you have a small dog; bigger molds can be used for bigger dogs.

Pumpkin for dogs can be used to aid with both diarrhea and constipation. As a result, giving your dog too much can also lead to diarrhea or constipation. It’s best to limit these treats to prevent this.

Always consult your vet before giving your dog any new foods, especially if they have food sensitivities or other health issues.

These treats are intended as an occasional snack and should not replace your dog’s regular diet.
